Points of View:
People could look at Harry Potter in many different ways. You could want to eat him, like Aragog, you could despise him, like Dudley, you could adore him secretly, like Ginny, or you could admire him like the entire Wizarding community (except Voldemort and his followers). People do hate Harry Potter. I hate to admit it, but it's true. "I don't see what the deal is with stupid Harry Potter," and "Ugh, Harry Potter, that's so stupid," are both things I've heard said. On the flipside, there are people, myself included, who practically worship Harry Potter.
People could look at Harry Potter as a way to escape their own Dursley family. It could merely be a source of entertainment. It could be a way to enter a new world without leaving no trace of yourself behind. For those who love Harry, the truth is: It's Magical.
